Practical, clever design

We designed this fire pit to be easy to use. It is made up of two separate parts: a bowl and a cabinet. A removable shelf lets you adjust the storage to your needs, and a side holder takes your utensils. If you opt for the version without castors, height-adjustable feet protect your floor while keeping the unit stable.

Durable construction

The plancha and the central grill (optional) are made from 10 mm thick S235JR steel. As it heats up, the plancha curves slightly inwards, allowing cooking fat to drain into the fire. The cabinet, available in a Corten or black powder-coated finish, is made from 2 mm thick steel. The cooking bowl is made from 3 mm steel and features a high-temperature powder coating.

Black powder-coated finish

For the black finish, we coat the bowl with a black powder before heating it to 200 °C. This process creates a durable, slightly textured, even, non-polluting and resistant coating.

Properties of Corten steel

Corten steel, a unique alloy of phosphorus, copper, chromium and nickel, offers exceptional weather resistance. It rusts on the surface without ever affecting its core, ensuring a lifespan of several decades.

Corrosion process (Corten steel version):

1. 1 to 3 months: A yellow/orange layer appears. Beware of run-off that may stain wooden or concrete floors.
2. 3 to 6 months: The layer becomes darker and harder.
3. 6 months to 1 year: The colour evens out, the rust hardens and the run-off stops.
4. 1 to 2 years: The fire pit reaches its final dark brown patina, unique to each Corten sheet.
