A practical and clever design: Vinci 80 XL Fire Pit with Cabinet

To simplify installation, we designed the fire pit in two parts: a separate bowl and cabinet. You can adjust the storage space thanks to a removable shelf that divides the cabinet into two sections. In addition, a side rack holds your utensils for easy access. If you opt for the version without castors, height-adjustable plastic feet keep it stable and protect your floor.

Designed for durability: Vinci 80 XL Fire Pit with Cabinet

We make the plancha and the central grill (optional) from 10 mm thick S235JR steel. As it heats up, the plancha curves slightly inwards, allowing cooking fat to drain straight into the fire. The cabinet, in 2 mm thick Corten steel, and the cooking bowl, in 3 mm high-temperature powder-coated steel, ensure strength and performance.

Powder-coated finish

We coat the bowl with black powder before baking it at 200 °C. This process creates a textured, even and hard-wearing finish that is non-polluting and long-lasting.

The advantages of Corten steel

Corten steel contains phosphorus, copper, chromium and nickel, a composition that allows it to rust on the surface without ever affecting its core. This makes Corten steel ideal for prolonged outdoor use, ensuring resistance to the elements for several decades.

How the corrosion develops:

1. 1 to 3 months: A yellow/orange layer appears. Note: run-off may stain wooden or concrete surfaces.
2. 3 to 6 months: The corrosion intensifies, becoming darker and more resistant.
3. 6 months to 1 year: The colour evens out, the layer hardens and the run-off disappears.
4. 1 to 2 years: The final patina, dark brown and unique to each piece, is revealed.
